A panel organized by the MIT Energy Club will discuss integrating electric vehicles into electricity grids and electricity markets. Panelist Willett Kempton, Professor at the University of Delaware and a national expert on vehicle-to-grid (V2G) issues, will share his cutting-edge research, including actual pilot projects in PJM and elsewhere in the U.S. Panelist John Bryan, Program Manager in Xcel Energy's Utility Innovations group overseeing their Smart Grid City project in Boulder, Colorado, will discuss this ground-breaking project that includes smart meters and broadband to every house in Boulder and is already testing both V2G and renewable energy integration applications.
