Professor Ronald Prinn will present a lecture as a part of Focus On Climate Change, a series of multi-departmental events from Feb. 12th to 14th that emphasize the links between fields of study in MIT and climate change. The Focus on Climate Change series also aims to connect interested students with resources available to make a change in our MIT community and beyond. Professor Ronald Prinn, director of the MIT Center for Global Change Science, is involved in a wide range of projects in atmospheric chemistry and biogeochemistry, planetary science, climate science, and integrated assessment of science and policy regarding climate change. He will discuss the challenge of climate change from the perspective of climate scientists, and the relationship between science, economics and policy in addressing climate change.
